I currently run Reporting Services within our local network so I use the server name in the URL. I would like to expand that usage to incorporate the use of an external website via the internet and would therefore use a fully qualified domain name for the server name. I understand that I have to add a new Report Server and Report Manager Virtual Directory for the new external website. When I add the new website, will the old method of running using the server name still work? I would really like for both access methods to work. In the configuration tool, I can't see a way to list report server virtual directories or change the virtual directory to one previously added. Is only one active at one time or are all added ones in use?
