I am importing tables from an Excel 2007 file to a SQL 2005 db using SSIS on a x64 Vista machine. I've noticed a significant slowdown (Window freeze, long execution time ) in SSIS package execution when importing data from Excel/Access 2007. Is it normal? I know Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 is not compatible with Windows Vista. Could that be the problem?
