Email notification account not visible

Hi all

I set up some jobs under SQL 2005 and configured the Database Mail feature. The idea is of course to send email Alerts for certain Jobs, once they failed.

I tested the accounts I created (under "Management --- Database Mails --- right click and Send Test Mail") I received the email succesfully.

The problem is when I go to my Backup Jobs under SQL Server Agent --- Jobs -- Properties --- Notifications, I can't choose the mail account to be notified when the job for example fails.

Anyone has an idea what is missing?

Right click on SQL Server Agent and selet Properties.

Under Alert System enable the mail profile you setup.
