Hi,

I have created maintenace plan in SQL Server 2000 and I want it to email me after the job is completed.

But I am not able to configure email. It ask me to configure MAPI.

MAPI is used in Microsoft Outlook Express. I also checked online regarding this issue and ask me to configure MAPI but I cant to that because that is on client site and i cannt create it.

Please any one can help with this issue.

The only way to do this is to either install the Outlook client on the SQL Server machine or use a third party SMTP tool to send email from SQL Server.
