Have you heard that SQL Server 2008 RTM date may be as soon as July 31st 2008??? That's only a couple of days from now, so be ready for the flood!
I recently gave a new features overview presentation to my Local PASS Chapter (PASS Switzerland). It brought up some very interesting dicussion points, in terms of how of some of these features will add value compared to existing technologies out there, for example backup compression versus SAN snapshots and deltas for backups.
